As Twitchy told you, Jim Acosta once again beclowned himself at today’s White House press briefing.
I walked out of the end of that briefing because I am totally saddened by what just happened. Sarah Sanders was repeatedly given a chance to say the press is not the enemy and she wouldn't do it. Shameful.

But as it turned out, he was just getting started:
"I'm tired of this," @Acosta says. "It is not right" to call the press the "enemy of the people." Watch this clip. pic.twitter.com/rcqB5FiSCy

And now, he’s finally figured out what to do about it:
Oh, but you did.
.@CNN's @Acosta says that journalists should gather together to march down Pennsylvania Ave chanting & wearing pins that say, "we are not the enemy of the people."
???

Yes, this just happened: @acosta just said seriously that journalists should chant in front of the White House "we are not the enemy of the American people" and no, we do not live in serious times

oh he said it. i think i died

We’re all dead:
CNN's @Acosta on contentious WH press conference: "Honestly Brooke, I'm tired of this …. It is not right, it is not fair, it is not just, it is un-American to come out here and call the press the enemy of the people"https://t.co/1oGZa7f57j pic.twitter.com/sqEkOE89SM

Is referring to the press as “the enemy of the people” inflammatory? Over-the-top? Unhelpful? Yes to all three. But you know what? The press is frequently inflammatory, over-the-top, and unhelpful, too. And Jim Acosta’s narcissism and insistence on daily theatrics accomplishes nothing other than proving many Americans’ criticism of our media correct.
I think it's time that we created a Journalism Medal of Honor award for Jim Acosta. Maybe we should even name it after him once he becomes the first recipient. The Jim Acosta Heroic Firefighting Journalism Medal of Honor sounds appropriate, right?

He can wear it to the protest.
If the press did go out and protest in front of the White House, it would sink their credibility even further.
I really hope they do it.
