As Twitchy told you, Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been destroyed. Kevin Spacey’s nearby star, on the other hand, remains as pristine as ever. Which is a pretty perfect illustration of Hollywood hypocrisy.
But there may be a silver lining:
The best part about Trump’s star being destroyed is that it costs $30,000 to install one star and the Hollywood Historic Trust is responsible for repairs and maintenance, not Trump. pic.twitter.com/3iSvlGid0i

The actual marble star costs $3,000, but the total cost for the whole thing runs at least $30,000. That price includes the cost of breaking up the sidewalk, the actual ceremony, and maintenance. It’s unlikely that there’d be a ceremony when the replacement gets put in, but Trump’s not financially responsible for the replacement … which means that the remaining costs would go to someone else. According to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, in this case, the Hollywood Historic Trust will be covering it. Which is actually pretty perfect.

That almost kinda makes the vandalism worth it.
I hope they do this more often.
