'WEIRD MOVE': James Comey's election advice only gives MORE ammo to his CRITICS

James Comey’s credibility is basically hanging by a thread, and yet, last night, he evidently thought this tweet was a good idea:

This Republican Congress has proven incapable of fulfilling the Founders’ design that “Ambition must … counteract ambition.” All who believe in this country’s values must vote for Democrats this fall. Policy differences don’t matter right now. History has its eyes on us.

Comey's explicit embracing of the Democrats is a weird move. It's certainly been implied he would want Democrats to win given his book and criticism of Trump. To come out and baldly say it gives leverage to opponents to dismiss him as a mere partisan.
