Retiring North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis decided this was the moment to unload on Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. In a reply to one of Hegseth’s short motivational clips from the Pentagon, Tillis accused the secretary of wasting taxpayer money on campaign-style videos and then launched into a broader attack on his competence, his advice to the president, the firing of senior generals, and the infamous war-plans texting episode.
Tillis really needs to learn to read the room.
