Sen. Chris Murphy is back on his so-called annual Walk Across Connecticut, which is senator-speak for pointing a phone at himself for two minutes while he pretends to be just like everyone else. This time the pressing national briefing is whether he takes the same route every year and, wait for it, a deep dive on his sneakers. A sitting U.S. senator, mid-workweek, is narrating his own nature stroll like it’s a Michael Moore documentary nobody asked for.
Constituent service, apparently, now includes shoe talk and scenic suburban B-roll.
The rest of the country is working. Murphy is out here pulling a social media stunt his much-younger gf likely encouraged him to pull.
