As Twitchy readers know, Cenk Uygur’s chair gave out live on Piers Morgan Uncensored while he was getting worked over (and worked up) for defending nephew Hasan Piker — and now he's trying to save face by making it funny. Or at least what he thinks is funny.

That’s the bit. A studio chair snaps under him mid-argument, the clip goes everywhere, and his follow-up is a 3,000-year-old land-claim gag aimed at the Jewish state.

Har de har har.

Critics already thought the broken seat was cosmic comedy. His explanation made the moment even louder.
