Long, long ago, when I first started writing for Twitchy (almost ten years ago now!), I wrote something that made Oliver Darcy mad. Honestly, I can't tell you what it was, but since I was a fairly new writer on this site, I was MORTIFIED, especially since he didn't bother to reach out to me. No, no, he reached out to Greg Pollowitz, an editor who used to write for Twitchy, who passed away a few years back now. You guys remember Greg, yes? He was awesome.
He was also the rock of the site and the person most of the 'normie' journalists felt comfortable reaching out to. Over the years I worked with Greg, Darcy was far from the only person to complain to him about me, but I believe he was the first. I remember Greg messaging me and telling me he'd told Darcy to come to me if he had a problem, since you know, I didn't work for Greg.
I worked with him.
Long story short, he never did reach out and instead he blocked me.
Keep in mind, at this point, I was pretty new to writing in this space and had spent a few years looking up to Darcy, so it was strange, to say the least. Looking back now, it makes me laugh ... it also makes me miss working with Greg Pollowitz, but I digress.
Looking through my timeline today, I came across this from Stephen L. Miller aka RedSteeze:

So you see, even in nearly a decade, Darcy hasn't gotten much braver in his confrontations with the people he tends to have problems with. Good to know there are certain things that never change ... heh.
