First things first, today has been a crazy day and the confirmation hearings for President Donald J. Trump's picks have only just begun. Look, I'm not naive and I knew going in the Democrats would throw many many MANY tantrums and act like totally unhinged lunatics HOWEVER, I don't know that I've spent so much time yelling at my monitor ... ever. And keep in mind I've live-blogged debates and State of the Union speeches from Joe Biden himself.
Yeah, that's a lot of yelling.
And while Kirsten Gillibrand, Mazie Hirono, Tim Kaine, and especially Elizabeth Warren were bad, I found myself angriest at Sen. Dick Blumenthal sitting up there pretending Hegseth is not qualified KNOWING Dick lied about his service in Vietnam.

If ANYONE is unqualified for his job it's Dick. And for him to sit there and grill a man who really did serve, who has not lied about his service and what it entailed, is grossly disrespectful. Honestly, I don't get how this 'man' still has a job.
Surely even Democrats don't like to be lied to.
KIDDING, I know better, it just felt like the right thing to say there.
