Dick Cheney is voting for Kamala Harris. Crazy times we're living in.
You know, I've been joking about this, mocking Green Day and other loser bands for being 'American Idiots' since they now align with Dick politically but deep down I know this isn't really funny. C'mon, it's hard to laugh when you see people you've looked up to for decades suddenly sticking a knife in the back of everything you thought they believed in. Dick voting for a communist? REALLY? Yeah, not funny. But I've been trying to laugh ... keep it light.
If I'm being at all honest, comedy is how I cope with most things - I can see those of you who have been reading me for a while nodding and saying, 'Duh Sam.'
But it's true.
It's why I can't ever see myself writing for a straight news site, even if it was Right/leaning. I'd have to throw in an ARGLE BARGLE RAR or talk about what sort of face I am making as I read whatever it is I'm writing about. Probably because my golden rule, which came from my late, great grandmother-in-law, has always been keep your sense of humor and stay out of jail.

That being said, in some ways I am starting to lose my sense of humor when it comes to the very real threat of Kamala Harris. Don't get me wrong, I'll continue making jokes about her but deep down knowing what we're up against, how Democrats have become the true party of war, power, and wealth at times it can feel like an uphill battle. And that their supporters in many cases aren't smart enough to realize what's happening is not a good thing doesn't help.
Case in point, this ridiculous 'Kamala'a Wins' account that used to be 'Biden's Wins'. Just like his campaign and war chest, they just put her name on it and pretended it was always hers. These people are probably just like the average Kamala supporter which isn't like all that bright but still.
They think really rich people NOT supporting Trump is a good thing.

Granted, they don't list a source for this and are likely talking out of their asses but the fact they're not smart enough to know this isn't a good things isn't well ... a good thing. Stupid, angry, emotionally-driven people are easy to manipulate, and today's Democratic Party knows that.
While 'everyday Americans' who think they're supporting the so-called party of the people in reality they are doing their part to usher in authoritarianism unlike anything we've ever seen in this country and by the time they figure it out, it will be too late.
That's why no matter what they throw at us, no matter what they do to Trump, we must win.
