Chasten Buttigieg Really Seems to HATE the Idea of Grandmas Providing Childcare

It never ceases to amaze me how many people on the Left see the federal government as their parent. The whole narrative from crazy white liberal women about Tim Walz being the dad they always wanted ... it's just creepy. And bizarre.

The government is not your mommy.

The government is not your daddy.

No, that's what your family is for, you know, your actual mommy and daddy. That's how it's supposed to work. Americans were never meant to rely on the government for their basic needs because if they do they are never really truly free. Tick the government off? They could cut you off.

And seeing someone like Chasten Buttigieg who you know is probably still home breastfeeding his and Pete Buttigieg's twins (IT'S A JOKE, settle down) snarking at JD Vance for even suggesting grandmas can provide childcare for a family is all too telling.

He'd much rather make you and I pay for it ...

Why is childcare even a concern at the federal level? I know that might sound heartless but at the end of the day, it's really local thing. Oh, I know, Democrats love to pretend it's somehow their job to provide care for our children (to pander for votes at the expense of others), but this really shouldn't be a national discussion in the first place.

Ahem.

And it works great. My mother-in-law watched both of my kids when they were little so I could work. I did pay her a small amount but it was nothing like what I would have had to pay the daycares in our town PLUS the kids loved spending time with her. It was a win-win.

Come to think of it, maybe this should be policy.

Especially because it works.
