Yesterday, I came across a post from Obama Bro, Jon Favreau. I actually wrote about it because I found his sniveling and whining while begging Democrats to remove Biden even after all of the preening about saving Democracy HIGHLY entertaining. What I did not expect was an actual conversation under his post with those on the Left ... until, of course, they discovered I was some evil Republican trolling Favreau.
Ok, yes, I was trolling him at first when I pointed out 14 MILLION Democrats chose Biden for their 2024 nominee and it was the opposite of Democracy to remove him BUT ... I was not necessarily trolling the people responding.
It was fascinating. Here's his post:

As you can see, Trump is beating Biden badly. It shouldn't take much to beat a vegetable, just sayin'.
Anyway, many of them were angry at me for insisting Biden stay in the race. Again, keep in mind they didn't check my bio so they thought I was another Lefty commenting on my nominee. They told me it wasn't fair, that nobody told 'us' how bad Biden really was, and that the party didn't really allow a primary anyway. At first I was my normal charming self and snarked on them about how it's not possible that they didn't know Biden was a hot mess of senile, but then I realized they were being serious. Since they thought I was one of them, it was a legit conversation.

Over and over again I pointed out how they should be angry because the DNC put this old man in place, and I reminded them they were sold a candidate that doesn't really exist. They were in agreement with me, shaking their fists, and complaining about how they did the same thing to Bernie Sanders.
I didn't say anything about Bernie because what could I say? Dude is nutball.
Eventually, someone looked at my bio and then they were all angry and started treating me as they normally do, like a villain. Insulting my intelligence, claiming I set them up, insisting I was trolling, blah blah blah. And as I said up top, originally I was trolling BUT then it was like a train wreck and I couldn't stop myself from having an honest conversation with these people.
Guys, they really didn't know Biden was this bad because the media told them he was ok, and they bought it. Because Hollywood told them he was awesome, and they bought it. We joke a lot about how easily the Left is manipulated, but I of course thought it was a joke.
It's not. I was conversing with some very angry people who felt very betrayed by their party and their nominee.
Do I think they will hold the party accountable? God no, they were angrier at me for being an evil Republican than they were at the Democrats for putting them in this position in the first place. Do I think the Democrats are in trouble? Big trouble. YUGE trouble, even.
