Trump is leading the GOP pack by 50+ points and if he does indeed take the nomination, I'll vote for him. DeSantis has maintained his place in second with the polls and if he somehow pulls it out and secures the nomination, I'll vote for him. Santa HIMSELF could enter the GOP primary today and dammit, if he wins the nomination I will VOTE FOR HIM. I'm not picky. I know I know, I should be picky (I can see some of you tsk-tsking me even now saying something about how we get the government we deserve) but guys, I just want Biden to lose. He's got to lose. We can't survive another four years of this Botox-filled, bumbling butthole.
Check out the alliteration - that's why they pay ME the big bucks, folks. Anyway ...
If I'm being completely honest here, if Santa entered the primary I'd probably still be a little concerned about him (the dude is thousands of years old ya' know) but still, he'd be better than Biden. Who am I kidding? A bologna sandwich that's been sitting out in the sun for two weeks would be better than Biden. In fact, if a moldy old bologna sandwich somehow got the GOP nod (I've seen our party do some strange stuff), I'd crawl over broken shards of glass and then swim through a pool of lemon juice to vote for that disgusting sandwich over Joseph Biden.
I remember back when Biden 'won', (oh settle down, Google, it's just quotation marks), I sort of did this bargaining thing in my head. I was like, 'Ok, so it's Biden, at least it's not Hillary Clinton, right? At least it's not Eric Swalwell or Pete Buttigieg or Bernie Sanders. Surely, out of all the terrible candidates, Biden is the least likely to destroy the country, RIGHT? He's an old-school Democrat ... RIGHT?!' Yeah, that didn't work out so well, that whole bargaining thing. Turns out Biden was the WORST of all because he is clearly not the one in charge of his administration. Fine, call me a conspiracy theorist (wouldn't be the first time) but someone is pulling this old timer's strings and whoever he or she (they? LOL) is, they are more than willing to let the old white racist guy take the fall for their bad ideas.
And considering how bad Biden's approval ratings really are? He's definitely taking the fall here.
Please note how mature I am and that I did not make a joke about Biden actually falling. Sure, I thought about it, I might have even started writing it out, BUT at the end of the day I didn't make the joke.
Go me.
I might make it later though, check back and see if I updated this. Heh.
I guess this is why I struggle so much watching people on our 'side' fight each other so much. At the end of the day, we should all be working to get Biden out of the White House. You support Trump? Great. If he gets the nod let's all work together. You support DeSantis? Great. If he gets the nod let's all work together. Because no matter what, it's going to take every single one of us to beat the Democratic machine. They proved in 2020 they are willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to win, even if that means almost completely destroying this country.
They called it 'fortifying the election' - Democrats never actually call things what they really are because they have to admit how much their agenda sucks. Just sayin'.
So I guess you can say I'm trying to appeal to both sides (all sides, even you Santa people), duke it out, fight in the primary, earn those votes and earn support, but when it's all said and done and the best man (or moldy sandwich) wins, we all come together and do what it takes to beat Biden. Or whoever they end up running because I'm still not convinced it will be Joseph.
It's a moral imperative.
