Are we really as a country SO BORED with our lives that we have time to find things to be outraged about? Like, isn't there enough to worry about in our everyday lives without having to go out and pick a fight with a beloved actress from a beloved movie? What IS IT with people today who are so determined to ruin every little thing that might bring someone joy?
Entertainment shouldn't be based on whether or not something offends someone or that it might offend someone.
Not now.
Not ten years ago.
And especially not nearly 100 years ago. Are our pals in the woke mob REALLY going after Judy Garland? NOW?! If so, all I have to say is, 'COME GET SOME',' because if they come for Judy, they come for all of us.
Check. This. Nonsense. Out.
two movies. a year apart. same bitch.

Forget that Judy Garland was a minor when she made these films and that plenty of actors and actresses wore blackface back in the day. No no, they haven't ruined the Wizard of Oz just yet SO here's their chance to try and take it down. They just can't allow anyone to enjoy or be happy about anything ... unless we're all miserable and angry they just can't rest.
In the 1930s some movies were filmed in black & white and some were filmed in color so it wasn't uncommon for the same actress to appear in both formats. What's your point?

Luckily plenty of people feel the same way I do about this ridiculousness.
Leave Judy alone.

I mean, Mickey Rooney in Breakfast At Tiffany’s was at least old enough to make his own decisions about the role.

It was a long time ago and we’ve moved on.
What's interesting is how this is all coming out after the big 'blow up' about Bradley Cooper and his prosthetic nose for the movie, Maestro. He's playing Leonard Berstein, who incidentally came out and defended Cooper when the idiots came after him for the prosthetic nose.
People are just looking for something to be pissed off about, to complain about, to wag their fingers over.
People need a hobby.
