Every time I see an ad like this that is so grossly and obviously a lie I have to remind myself the people who made the ad (Lefties, Democrats, mouth-breathing lawn flamingos who still believe the parties magically switched places, etc.) aren't trying to convince ME or any other normal, thinking, sane, rational person in this country. Republicans have been trying to make the birth control pill OVER THE COUNTER for decades now. Yup. And gosh, guess who ALWAYS blocks it? That would be the Democrats because we all know, if women have easier access to the pill, their donors at Planned Parenthood who are struggling as it is these days will struggle even more. This has never been about empowering women or even so-called 'choice' for them. It's always been about power and how much money they can milk the abortion industry out of.
