The only group of people more annoying than your typical mouth-breathing, chest-thumping, fist-shaking Lefties on Twitter are the smug, snide, former conservative leaders/pundits who decided to make a living around hating one politician. Forget everything they've stood for and supported for years and years (heck decades), all that matters is 'orange man bad'. Totally true.
I looked up to Charlie for a long time. We even followed one another. But ever since Trump came into the picture he's been a different person as far as I'm concerned. And sadly, like so many others on the Right, it feels like he figured out it's far more lucrative to hate Trump.
And hey, don't get me wrong, I'm a capitalist and I totally understand the desire to be successful and make money. I support it as well. Clearly, I write about politics for a living and would like to be successful in my own right.
But this holier-than-thou attitude though with Republicans who are Trump-friendly?
