Republicans are working to restrict abortion? Say it ain’t so!
It’s funny seeing something like this from The Democrats as if this will somehow inspire anyone who isn’t already voting for them TO vote for them. And by funny I mean funny pathetic, not funny ha-ha. When we see this sad party going back to the same sad talking points they’ve been pushing for decades now, it’s clear they don’t really have anything to run on or offer. Oh goodie, they are protecting infanticide. Gosh, lucky me!
Not to mention we all know Democrats had plenty of time in a majority role to codify Roe, they just chose not to because it’s far more lucrative for them to campaign on it than protect it. They never thought SCOTUS would call their bluff.
They were wrong.
And this tweet reminds us all that Republicans voted as they promised they would? Not exactly a dig or a gotcha, guys.

House Republican Priorities:
99% voted against codifying Roe v. Wade—twice.
97% voted against protecting your right to cross state lines for safe abortion.
92% voted against protecting access to birth control.— The Democrats (@TheDemocrats) April 26, 2023
Some intern who probably thinks Obama was the second-coming came up with this tweet, showed it to someone in charge and they both thought, ‘YEAH, THAT’LL SHOW ‘EM.’ Except all they really did was remind people why we should vote Republican.
Especially me as a pro-life woman who resents the idea that my rights are in any way tied to taking the life of another.
Smells like desperation to me.
So you're saying that for once, they listened to their voters?

Right?!
Awesome.

Why was Roe never codified when Dems had a supermajority?

Votes for life! What a novel concept eh? Babies have rights.

Protecting women, huh, tell me how's that's working. Yall should feel ashamed, but yall lost all shame a long time ago. How do you protect something you don't even know what it is. pic.twitter.com/QRTEUpH6oY

Man, that whole refusing to define what a woman is has really and truly been a thorn in their sides.
A very beneficial thorn, to the Republicans.
