The New York Times is none too happy with Kevin McCarthy for giving all of the J6 footage to Tucker Carlson. Seems they’re concerned this is some sort of outsourcing to ‘reinvestigate’ the attack or something … and they are worried about conspiracy theories.
NYT. The same outlet that won a Pulitzer for pushing the Russian collusion hoax? They don’t want Tucker pushing conspiracy theories. Yeah, I laughed when I read that. Probably more than I should have (it’s been a long few years), but give me a break. I can’t decide if they sound nervous about what we’ll all find out OR if they’re jealous because they didn’t get the footage. But why the heck would any Republican ever trust that outlet with anything, let alone what may be the truth about what happened that fateful day that has done nothing but hurt the Right and help the Left?
Watching them whine about it though makes me very happy.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s decision to grant the Fox News host Tucker Carlson exclusive access to thousands of hours of security footage from inside the Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack was his latest move to appease the right wing of his party, this time by effectively outsourcing a bid to reinvestigate the riot to its favorite cable news commentator, who has circulated conspiracy theories about the assault.
The most conservative Republican members of Congress — many of whom have worked to downplay or deny the reality of the Jan. 6 attack — have been pushing Mr. McCarthy for weeks to release the video after he promised to do so during his campaign for speaker.
And you know, Americans want to see it ALL. If Pelosi and her merry committee of a-holes hadn’t worked so hard to limit what we saw (while building the narrative they wanted) this wouldn’t be an issue. But since this became an ABC production for Nancy and the Democrats, we want to see it all.
