Full disclosure, I am pissed off.
Not just angry, or annoyed, or even frustrated. Pissed. As much as I absolutely support the idea of someone with a disability running for office, what I do not support is a party using disability as a shield once they can no longer hide the fact that their candidate is a disaster. That is exactly what is happening with John Fetterman. For months the Left and the media gaslighted us, then they said he was sick but getting better, and now that he’s completely blown a debate and nobody can pretend there isn’t an issue here, they’re playing the disability card.
It’s repugnant.
It is truly the worst sort of ableism to use a disability as a shield for a freakin’ politician. Oh, and then to claim other people calling this out are ableists? Gross.
That’s why I don’t have any sort of sympathy for not being able to understand what the Hell Fetterman is saying here.
