Executive Director for Build the Wave, Nate Lerner, wants to make it as hard to buy a gun as it is to vote.
Huh.
If only Republicans made it as hard to buy a gun as they've made it to vote.

We are totally good with making it as hard to buy a gun as it is to vote.
Totally.
EL OH EL.
I fully support making guns as hard to buy as it is to vote. https://t.co/gd2vzMp3st

You know the rhetoric has gone cuckoo when it starts helping the opposing side.
Nobody tell ’em.
This is a lie. I took a written test before buying a gun, wait 10 days every time I’ve bought a gun before picking it up, FBI background checks for each gun and bring multiple forms of ID each time.
Maybe we should take voting as seriously though and require a competency test.

Suppose the opposite side of Nate’s tweet could work as well, maybe we do need to make it harder for some people to vote. Oh, don’t worry, just the illegal people … and the dumb ones.
Yes.
Because you need an FBI background check, must fill out a 4-page form with no errors under penalty of perjury stating that you’re both eligible and voting of your own volition (and not at the behest of someone else), and may still be told you have to come back in 3 days.

Clearly, like other gun-grabbing Lefties, Nate has zero idea what it takes to actually buy a gun in this country.
And do not forget the PHOTO ID!

I can't get a gun when I get a driver's license in a new state. I can't fill out a form to get a gun at a library or post office. Gee, I guess it's really much easier to register to vote than to get a gun

Hilarious
So–no ID–no proof of citizenship–no criminal background check to buy a gun. That's what you just suggested.

This went well.
Never had to pass a background check, wait two weeks and show two types of ID to vote.
What dimension do you live in?— D Wenke (@DaveWenke) October 28, 2018
i don't remember finger printing, a background check, and a verification letter to go vote. if you think it's hard to vote, you're incapable of adulting.

With people like Nate in charge of the ‘movement,’ we think we’re starting to understand what really happened to their so-called blue wave … heh.
