Senator Jeff Flake admitted on 60 Minutes that he wouldn’t have called for the Kavanaugh investigation if he was running for reelection.
Which is so damn infuriating.
Since he doesn’t have to worry about what the people who elected him want anymore he’s turning tail and basically deserting them. Real classy, Flake.

From The Hill:
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) said Sunday that there’s “not a chance” he would have called for an FBI investigation into the allegations of sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh if he were running for reelection.
“Not a chance,” Flake said when asked on CBS’s “60 Minutes” if he would have asked for the investigation if he were up for reelection in the November midterms.
“There’s no value to reaching across the aisle,” Flake said. “There’s no currency for that anymore. There’s no incentive.”
Seriously shameful.
Tells you that @JeffFlake actually has no spine.

So Flake not only pissed the Right off by admitting he only ever did anything for them to stay in office, but he also pissed the Left off because he admits he wouldn’t have done what they wanted if he had to actually face his voters.

Talk about a lose-lose.
Yeah, we know you sellout.

Flake needs a job in the private sector with a really good mentor to develop him and help him find a decent career when he grows up.

@JeffFlake This is a great example for term limits amongst all political spectrums.

Such profiles in courage.

Let’s recap, shall we? Flake was ‘attacked’ in an elevator by a woman who works for a Soros-funded organization, he completely caved, then he goes on 60 Minutes and admits if he had to face his voters he wouldn’t have called for the investigation.
Wow.
We suppose he was trying to put this off on Republicans somehow, but ultimately all he did was make a giant ass of himself.
