You know those stories that make you roll your eyes so far back in your head you think they might get stuck there?
This hot mess from POLITICO is one of those stories:
Trump University never died. It’s located in the middle of bucolic southern Michigan. It’s a place called Hillsdale College. https://t.co/Ca2wm1fOzI pic.twitter.com/cAzcCVHsi9

From POLITICO (sorry!):
Maybe you’ve never heard of Hillsdale. Or maybe you hadn’t heard about the school before it precipitated a floor fight in the Senate during tax bill negotiations last fall. But the tiny Christian college with a graduate school in statesmanship, a strong conservative bent and roots in an anti-slavery Baptist church, has long been a treasured institution in right-of-center circles—known for its required classical liberal arts curriculum, its commitment to a principled conservatism, and its outreach in Washington, D.C.
What’s happened to Hillsdale lately reflects the compromises conservative institutions across the country have made following Donald Trump’s 2016 victory: They’ve accommodated themselves to the president.
Dude.

One of the many reasons, yes.
My son went to Hillsdale and this dumb article pisses me OFF.

Not quite good enough to be Mad, well-played.
.@politico This is simply unbelievable. Shame on you.
— Pam D (@lifebythecreek) May 13, 2018
Sadly it IS believable from them, and they are incapable of feeling shame.
There is no integrity at Politico. None. Thankfully, more and more people see it for themselves everyday. We see you…

We do.
Hillsdale College is a rigorous college that is fully accredited, has been around for over 150 years, and takes no Federal dollars. To malign it as a reincarnation of Trump U is as ridiculous as it is insulting.
— Snowed in Shan (@PNWShan) May 13, 2018
Hillsdale existed before POLITICO.
This article, like POLITICO as a whole, is garbage. https://t.co/7YOhbBVW13
— RBe (@RBPundit) May 13, 2018
Boom.
First, it’s an opinion piece submitted by a writer for the Weekly Standard. Second, did you actually read the piece? My guess is that you’d agree with it more so than not. https://t.co/H28iM6ff7L
— Brad Dayspring (@BDayspring) May 13, 2018
POLITICO dude is so defensive, sheesh.
And you know what they say about opinions being like a*sholes …
We read it and no, we do not agree with it, thanks for playing, Brad.
Trump University was a scam.
Hillsdale is not and never has been.
Using “Trump University” as a clickbait hook is garbage and you know it. https://t.co/1NATJuP5FB
— RBe (@RBPundit) May 13, 2018
Yup.

Seriously, Brad. Take care of your own mess before you go accusing others.
— John Podhoretz (@jpodhoretz) May 13, 2018
What he said.
It’s like left wing universities have a horrendous free speech problem, so in order to create an equivalency, politico needed to invent a “problem” festering on the Conservative campus. What bs.
— Jacob Appelbaum (@Jappelbaume) May 13, 2018
That may actually be the technical term for POLITICO these days, BS.
