As we watch Americans come together to support, help and pray for Texas, it’s such a wonderful reminder about our country, that regardless of the divisive politics and messaging that have overwhelmed us all over the past couple of years … we are one.

Jonah Goldberg summed it up, perfectly.

The American spirit is front and center not only in Texas, but in the thousands of people who are working to either get to the state and physically help or those who are working on raising monies.

Texas reminds us what we are capable of, and who we really are.
