Who writes this crap? Oh yeah, Paul Krugman: 'Publicity stunts aren't policy' from NYT op-ed trends

Hey y’all, Paul Krugman wants us to know that publicity stunts aren’t policy.

Hrm … publicity stunts aren’t policy. Does he mean publicity stunts like passing bills to enforce laws already on the books (looking at you, Lily Ledbetter)? Beer Summits? Drawing red lines? Evolving on gay marriage? Dancing with Ellen?

Seriously. If Krugman wants to talk about publicity stunts we have eight years worth to go through.

Oh yeah, that whole fern thing.

Nope, Krugman probably thought that was TOTALLY rad. You know, a way for Obama to connect to everyday people.

Hands up don’t shoot? Oh wait … different publicity stunt. Our bad.

From this garbage on The New York Times:

So here’s a hint: Real leadership means devising and carrying out sustained policies that make the world a better place. Publicity stunts may generate a few days of favorable media coverage, but they end up making America weaker, not stronger, because they show the world that we have a government that can’t follow through.

Like Krugman or any Democrat knows anything about real leadership. *snicker*
