So.
Painful.
Granted, much of CNN’s programming is pretty hard to watch but this? This is exceptionally bad …
So you KNOW we gotta share it with you, dear reader. We’re #givers.
Here's a reporter on @CNN casually not knowing what impeachment is or how it works: She claims "It would require 20 Senate Republicans to join with Democrats to impeach president Trump" but the House of Reps has the sole power of impeachment, and impeachment is not removal… pic.twitter.com/NSa3Ap6FB8

‘Casually not knowing what impeachment is or how it works.’
Wow.
We suppose CNN is gonna CNN, right?
…What she's referring to is not impeachment but removal from office following an impeachment trial in the Senate. It's a common misconception that impeachment is removal, but a reporter covering possible impeachment should not be making that mistake.

Ahem, it’s CNN.
Just sayin’.
Perhaps @Brianstelter was right yesterday, when in his quest to gotcha President Trump over a typo he stated that "When someone can't get the little stuff right, it makes you worry about the big stuff." Should I worry about @CNN, Brian or nah?
— Eddie Zipperer (@EddieZipperer) April 22, 2019
Poor tater, he just keeps setting himself up for these things. FYI, we looked for Bri’s response to Eddie’s question and whaddya know, it doesn’t exist. If by chance he does answer we’ll keep you posted (but we’re not counting on it).

For anyone wondering, only the House can impeach the president, and it ONLY requires a simple majority. That means it is MUCH easier to impeach the President than it is to pass a bill. However, impeachment only leads to a Senate trial where it requires 2/3 to remove.

Which ain’t happenin’ anytime soon. We know, Democrats need to posture, pander, and pretend they can somehow remove Trump but at the end of the day that’s just what it is … posturing, pandering and pretending.
They still don’t have the votes in the House and Pelosi doesn’t want to bring it. She kinda gets her way a lot.

Like we said, ain’t happenin’ anytime soon.
what i’m really wondering is for whaaaaat? ?
(i’m legitimately asking)
i’m pretty sure you can’t impeach a sitting president because he doesn’t agree with you and you think he’s a big meanie— Mikki ❤️??? (@hottierockstar) April 22, 2019
That hasn’t stopped the Democrats from claiming otherwise.
Civics in HS taught me this.

Word.
The big problem is that people listening to her think she knows what shes talking about
— Dan Nelson (@IlliniDan2) April 22, 2019
True story.
And CNN knows they don’t know any better.
If she were more informed she would be working for another network
— Jonathan Lee Wood (@84RedDevil61) April 22, 2019
She got her info from AOC.
— Mint (@Babbas70) April 22, 2019
HA! You know what, it’s possible.
She is probably the most qualified person at CNN!!
