After Kevin Hart was all but forced to step down from hosting the Oscars over tweets he wrote and jokes he told years ago (yes, everything is stupid), social media started talking about who would host … and more importantly who would WANT to host the show.
The Academy Awards used to be about great film and greater performances, but sadly over time, it’s turned into some ridiculous political rally where a bunch of rich Hollywood types sits around patting one another on the back for hating the president.
Luckily, Pat Sajak has figured out the perfect solution:
Here’s a quick fix for the Academy Awards show: expand it to two nights. On the first night, give out awards, and celebrate the history and wonder of movies. On the second night, hold your political rally.

Ok, Pat is definitely onto something here. Heck, if they did this, this editor might even start watching again.
And do not televise the 2nd night

This could work.

He does.

And please only air the first night on television

Make. This. Happen.
You should host and than we would have class and enjoyment and than I would watch

We don’t hate this idea either.
Bet I know which one gets better ratings.
