Watching the ‘Resistance’ backpedal on Michael Avenatti may be the funniest, most satisfying thing this editor has witnessed since Hillary Clinton lost the election in 2016. It is especially enjoyable watching CNN try and pretend they didn’t create this monster …
Can we slow our roll on Michael Avenatti? | Analysis by @CillizzaCNN https://t.co/3Ca0OI6KFu pic.twitter.com/O13ijg6RYM

Just call them Dr. Frankenstein (sidenote, only five days until Halloween!).
From CNN:
Avenatti casts himself as the sort of guy Democrats need to nominate in 2020 against Trump — someone willing to say and do whatever it takes to beat Trump. “I think the party has yearned for a fighter — a fighter for good, if you will — for a significant period of time,” he said during a visit to Iowa recently. “And for many, I’m probably seen as that individual.”
But wait, there’s more.
It’s possible that Avenatti is like Trump — completely immune to stories that would destroy other candidates. But remember that Trump was a famous figure for decades prior to his running for president; people have long had hard and fast opinions about him. Avenatti, on the other hand, is a newly minted celebrity, with less imprint on the public.
Awww, it’s adorable how Chris Cillizza is trying to pretend they had nothing to do with creating Avenatti’s character. Sort of like how they ignore the fact they all but elected Trump … these people.

From March 7 to June 15, Avenatti was on your network 82 times, Chris @CillizzaCNN. But sure, go ahead and lecture people about the Avenatti hype.https://t.co/sAJwUhKpiVhttps://t.co/wTPGRUm2sY

Funny this analysis shows up right after a criminal referral for 3 felonies on #CPL.
You guys are so disingenuous and intellectually dishonest it defies description at times.

You should keep him on full blast until Nov 2020. He's a walking talking free GOP campaign ad
