Amy Acton released a new campaign statement after an 'armed man' allegedly shoved his way through a crowd toward her at the Canfield Fair, knocking over a couple of people in the process before security grabbed him.
From what we've gathered, he was actually only holding a cellphone.
Yeah.
That being said, apparently the man was indeed armed, but not brandishing a weapon as he 'lunged' across the crowd.
Coming right after video of Acton delivering an over-the-top, screaming rant at Vivek Ramaswamy that already had people questioning her composure, the timing has skeptics wondering whether this is a genuine security scare or just the latest plot twist in a campaign that never seems short on drama.

Democrats RACED to condemn the 'attack':
I just spoke to Amy Acton. She’s tough. There’s no place in our society for political violence. An issue that unfortunately Gabby and I are very familiar with. I want to thank law enforcement for stopping this attack. Perpetrators of political violence must be brought to justice. https://t.co/ZACzUq12RZ

Easy to be tough when the guy had a cellphone.
Even easier to be tough when it was planned by her own campaign.
Just sayin'.
Today’s attack on Dr. Amy Acton as she campaigned for Governor of Ohio was also an attack on our Democracy. Every American should participate in government without fear of violence. Every act of violence should be condemned by every person of good will. Political violence has no…

Pelosi has of course shut down replies on her post. Gosh, wonder why.
Like this editor, many people are questioning the reality of this so-called attack. Remember when the one guy threw apple cider vinegar at Ilhan Omar? Yeah. Some people think this has the same vibe:
Patrick Havas, the man who “allegedly” tried to attack Amy Acton, is in a relationship with this chick, Lexi Downs.

I’m not here to make assumptions about anyone. But let’s just say… she’s not exactly giving off the conservative vibe. 🫠
That’s all I’m saying. pic.twitter.com/qVdvBTNTB7
And if it was indeed an attack, the guy was likely not an evil Republican.
Staged. She was getting dragged over her campaign footage and needed something to try to garner sympathy and stop the bleeding.

See Dems? If Butler was “faked”, this can be too. Your rules 😎
You actually typed this out and then still posted it?

She did.
Well, someone did.
Hey, it's absolutely possible that some nutjob went after Acton ... but it's also possible this was staged. Politics has truly become nothing more than entertainment in far too many ways.
We'll keep an eye on this one and report back.
