Iowa congressional Democrat nominee certainly has a loyal staff to protect her from questions from reporters. At first, an aide tried shielding Lindsay James from the camera with a handful of campaign signs, but then another alleged staffer stepped in and decided it would be more efficient to just get rid of the reporter's phone.
BREAKING: A reporter just asked Iowa Congressional Democrat nominee Lindsay James if she cares about farmers and her staffer appeared to KNOCK THE PHONE out of his hands

Why are your staffers so violent @Lindsay4Iowa?? pic.twitter.com/PjMnysxvbU
That wasn't that tough of a question.
He looks EXACTLY like one would think if this was told with words.

Democrats are so emotionally immature. This seems to happen with them a lot. Their therapists are failing.

Typical left wing liberal behavior. Not a lick of common decency. On another note, I thought it was Tim Walz briefly.

That’s the ultimate, “whoever talks louder wins,” when that doesn’t work, the freaks use violence when asked hard questions they have no answers for.

If they physically block your way, and prevent you from moving freely, that is kidnapping. If they touch you, unwanted, that’s harassment. Start holding these idiots accountable and this will stop.

Paul Wermers is the mayor of Spillville, Iowa. He's also apparently running security detail for James.
Paul Wermers from Spillville, Iowa should receive negative incentives for his anti-social behavior.https://t.co/ao7h8IDYgP

Why is she so afraid to answer what appears to be a fairly simple question?
— CommonSense (@CreekAspen) August 17, 2026
She won't answer if she cares about farmers, but her staffer will happily answer for her by smacking a phone out of a reporter's hand. Message received.

It’s actually battery. The assault took place when he walked up threateningly. He should be charged. Also any candidate/sitting politician that wants to hide from constituents should be disqualified/removed immediately. They are here to work for us.

That should be campaign-ending, but then again, Wermers got elected, so …
