Over the past few weeks, actor Mark Ruffalo has been covering himself in shame with his opposition to the Paramount/Warner Brothers merger, not because he is opposed to the merger, but because he is opposed to David Ellison and his father Larry, who are Jewish and supporters of Israel.
Ellison's Paramount has pushed back against Ruffalo, calling his opposition antisemitic (because, you know, it is).
Of course, that caused Hollywood to circle the wagons around Ruffalo, with 170 Jewish (mostly in name only) performers writing a letter supporting him. Weirdly, the legacy media neglected to mention that more than 1,000 other Jews in Hollywood have condemned his remarks.
But we can all rest easy now because our moral superior, George Clooney — who truly does believe that he is Edward R. Murrow — has weighed in, admonishing everyone to stop silencing the Hulk:

No one is trying to take away Ruffalo's right to speak his hate-filled mind.
What Clooney means is that he believes that Ruffalo has a right to spew antisemitic screeds without being criticized for it.
And that is NOT how "democracy works."
He's BEEN allowed to say it...

But seeing as how Clooney stated that he supports free speech even when he completely disagrees with it, we decided to test that theory.
Or, rather, Twitchy favorite James Woods decided to absolutely demolish it, reminding Clooney of his hypocrisy when it comes to free speech he disagrees with.
