This DC taxi strike is hilarious. Uber organized it, right?

Gee, what better way to advertise? D.C. taxi drivers decided to strike today in protest against Uber, the wildly popular mobile app startup that connects passengers with drivers of vehicles for hire and ridesharing services.
Instead of garnering sympathy, the strikers lost out big time as stranded tourists and commuters flocked to Uber.
Honk if you love competition!
So complaining about Uber, you strike. Putting more money on uber's pocket. Dumb.

Even with all those taxis on strike & honking outside, only a 5 minute wait for @uber on the hill. pic.twitter.com/DoGqDBR2hj

apparently there's a taxi strike here in DC to protest @Uber, prompting the guy next to me to wonder whether we should take Uber.
