Darius Rucker of “Hootie and the Blowfish” fame transitioned successfully to country music and hit it big with his version of the classic “Wagon Wheel.” He performed the single at tonight’s American Country Awards. But diehard fans tweeted props to Old Crow Medicine Show for their original.
