Wow, that is a tall order! And how did it happen? Well, as Twitchy readers know, the University of Michigan canceled its screening of “American Sniper” because it might make students feel “unsafe.” Good. Grief.
The university subsequently rethought its decision (“thought” being a term used loosely) and the movie will now be shown, but with “safeguards.” Double good grief!
The football team’s coach, Jim Harbaugh, let HIS feelings be known on the matter. And, boy, was it beautiful:
Michigan Football will watch "American Sniper"! Proud of Chris Kyle & Proud to be an American & if that offends anybody then so be it!
