Oscars ouch! Larry Elder: This is what celebs were thinking when McConaughey thanked God

Yep! As Twitchy readers know, actor Matthew McConaughey gave an impassioned, faith-filled acceptance speech at Sunday night’s Academy Awards. The “cesspool” known as Hollywood didn’t much cotton to it. MTV host Chet Cannon weighed in on the disturbing reaction, as did Fox News’ Father Jonathan Morris. Fellow actor Guy Wilson praised McConaughey for being “fearless.” It is a sad testament that freely expressing one’s faith is now an act of bravery, isn’t it?

Larry Elder also weighed in as only he can. What was the celeb-filled crowd actually thinking when God was mentioned?
