One Direction’s Liam Payne once again took to Twitter in response to the backlash over his tweet to Willie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty.”
‘I'm sick of stupid stories’ – Liam Payne tweets disgust after being branded a homophobe http://t.co/6jACSYMGdW
— Independent Style (@Indo_Style_) January 19, 2014
You see, Liam praised the Robertson family, offered love and respect and said he was a fan. That does not suit! The tolerance brigade immediately started bullying, led off by openly gay YouTube personality Tyler Oakley. Love? Need not apply.
The sane have a different take.
HOW CAN ANYONE BE OFFENDED BY WHAT @Real_Liam_Payne SAID??? HE LIKES DUCK DYNASTY LIKE MANY OTHER PEOPLE DO. EVERYONE NEEDS TO SIT DOWN.

The reaction to Liam Payne's innocent tweet is proof positive that family values DO and always have offended liberals

Ding, ding, ding!
Payne defended himself admirably, even though he should not have felt forced to do so.
@DavidLevitz again i just like the show and i love when families stick together, i havent said i agree with all that theyve ever said
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 18, 2014
Payne continued and rightly gave PC Police journos and others the business.
Oh my god can someone literally not be a fan if a show without bring labeled WTf I bought dinner the other day it made a news story
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
Look at this shit I never said any if that write about something real for once there's plenty of issues In the world pic.twitter.com/FDsqtyr5Ht
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
Amen. But, hey, that doesn’t push the tolerance bullies’ (including members of the media) false narratives, now does it?
I can't do anything without being judged u try that and write about it
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
And I know I'm playing into your hands writing these tweets but I'm sick of stupid stories it's time you all grow up
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
And write about things that actually matter not what im gunna have for dinner tomorrow or who I'm a fan if real stories
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
I just watched a show and I liked it as most people do stop sitting in my twitter and do your research #lazyjournos
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
Boom.
He also replied to Tyler Oakley:
@tyleroakley that changes everything you obviously wernt a fan I said nothing I liked a show that was on my tv nothing about you or whatever
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
Bingo. He likes a show. He likes the Robertson family and respects them for not only all that they have achieved, but for the strength of their love. For that, he is vilified.
@chlxealison I'm talking journalists
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
All those tweets are aimed at journalists and bloggers not fans
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
Sick of all this bull il be back again when the freedom of speech law is back and people don't believe to much into the bulls#!t they read
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014

— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
Some exit advice to “real journalists” from Liam Payne:
Pick ur balls up off the floor and get on with it instead of taking advantage of every word said and twisting it for your own gain
— Liam (@LiamPayne) January 19, 2014
Nailing? Achieved.
