As Twitchy reported, more barricades went up at memorials in D.C. They were swiftly dubbed Barry-cades. The name was confirmed once the White House arrogantly admitted it was holding memorials for ransom and the news broke that the White House issued the order to close the World War II Memorial.
Barry-cades are not just a symbol of the shutdown, but of the Obama presidency itself. Citizens have started creating Photoshops:
