Nope, sorry. They are far too busy coordinating attacks against Mitt Romney. Because, statement.
.@JanCBS do the four murders matter here or only as you can use them to suggest a Romney press statement lacked tact?
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Citizens, again doing the job that “real journalists” won’t do, are demanding answers after attacks on our embassies left four people dead.
Yesterday was 9/11. Are you telling me not one reporter has asked why security was non-existent at our embassies? #tcot #p2
— RBe (@RBPundit) September 13, 2012
The rightful demand grows as more and more reports come in exposing Obama’s dangerous incompetence. It’s not just appalling statements from the U.S. embassy in Cairo, the Pentagon calling an American citizen in order to quash his free speech, or Obama declaring that Egypt is no longer an ally. It gets even worse.
President Obama continues to skip intelligence briefings, even skipping one a day after the attacks.
GET THIS: Obama SKIPPED his intel briefing for a Vegas fundraiser the day after the Embassy attack. http://t.co/cObMPjSx

Obama skipped an intel briefing yesterday instead of rescheduling a campaign event. http://t.co/UbsATtvT #tcot #p2
— RBe (@RBPundit) September 13, 2012
Maybe Obama skipped the intel briefing where it was determined that Egypt is still an ally? He does that… skips intel briefings. #tcot #p2

More from The Washington Post:
According to the public schedule of the president, the last time the Obama attended his daily intelligence meeting was Sept. 5 — a week before Islamist radicals stormed our embassy in Cairo and terrorists killed our ambassador to Tripoli. The president was scheduled to hold the intelligence meeting at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, the day after the attacks, but it was canceled so that he could comfort grieving employees at the State Department — as well he should. But instead of rescheduling the intelligence briefing for later in the day, Obama apparently chose to skip it altogether and attend a Las Vegas fundraiser for his re-election campaign. One day after a terrorist attack.

That is so shake fisty, we are struck speechless. Outrageous, unconscionable and beyond dangerous. This is the President of the United States. Under his watch, four lay dead. And he skips the intelligence briefing. He’s so smart, you see, that he doesn’t even need any briefings. Plus, Vegas, baby!
There’s more: The embassies were not secure on September 11. And there are reports that marines are not allowed to carry live ammunition.

Obama explanation for why there were no Marines at consulate: it's an "interim facility." So, you know. No worries.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
And the media?
Four people have been murdered and the media is resolutely incurious as to "Why?" and "Could this have been avoided?"
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Ace of Spades, Kirsten Powers and other citizens ask the questions that need answered.
just in the nick of time RT @AP BREAKING: US officials say the Pentagon is moving 2 warships toward Libyan coast.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Can the media at least ask Obama if he provided the security-free consulate some *Good* locks, like the top-shelf stuff from Home Depot?
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Of course there are Marines being deployed there now. To secure the bodies. So apparently it CAN be done.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
"Interim facility's" defenses consisted of zero marines, no bullet proof glass, and only locked doors.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
But you know, it's a Rule that you can't have security in an "interim facility." Especially when staffers there have warned of being stalked
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
How could Obama know a locked door wasn't sufficient security? It's not like Beghazi has long been an Al Qaeda stronghold or anything.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
https://twitter.com/NotDaveWeigel/status/246006618783879169
Just to confirm again: They DID have lock-and-key security, though? I mean, they DID have that, right? Well then that's just great.

Maybe Pimp With a Limp told Obama that interim facilities were low on the threat list.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Indeed. The president had time to chatter with him on September 11.
.@jancbs some people (amateurs like me) sort of think that WHY four people were left in an Al Qaeda town without security is important.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
.@jancbs Do you know why the decision was made to not provide any security beyond door-locks? Or to not send in a protective force?
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
.@jancbs by the way, the LAT reports Obama went to sleep knowing Stevens was taken but not knowing his fate.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
.@jancbs that also seems to involve a lack of tact. Him being a murder victim and all.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
While we talk about Romney's statement we don't talk about the four murders of men left in an unprotected building in an AQ town…
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
…and the lack of evacuation or Marine reinforcement even though there were dire warnings of coming carnage.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
@AceofSpadesHQ an Interim facility ….right next to a prominent Courthouse flying the Al Qaeda Flag for the last 10 months
— ?? Afterseven ✝️ (@Afterseven) September 12, 2012
Should the consulate have had more security than none at all? The media doesn't find this question contributes enough to The Narrative.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
@kirstenpowers10 @dcexaminer I'm sorry, was Mitt Romney in charge of the Benghazi consulate security? And the Sixth Fleet?
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 13, 2012
No marines posted to consulate in Libya on 9/11 http://t.co/1nhoPAGb But by all means media pls keep focusing on Romney's press statements
— Kirsten Powers (@KirstenPowers) September 13, 2012
@kirstenpowers10 @dcexaminer Thank you, Kristen. Ever see the movie Gas Light? I feel like I'm being gaslit here.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 13, 2012
What they are intensely interested in is not MURDERS of Ambassadors, but press releases they believe to be lacking in tact.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Um, Obama? The people who are willing to fight four our freedoms weren't at the Consulate because you didn't send them there.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 13, 2012
At the consulate were diplomats. I'm sure they've had some light weapons training but they're not really the ones who "fight for freedom."
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 13, 2012
Benghazi was an Al Qaeda stronghold before, through, and after the revolution. This isn't exactly Monday Morning Quarterbacking.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Al Qaeda is not deterred by Stanley Door Locks.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 12, 2012
Security at Embassy in Al Qaeda stronghold on 9/11: 1. Doors with locks. 2. 4 (FOUR!) Libyan guards. 1 of whom a rat. http://t.co/1I1FPqmr
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 13, 2012
Don't worry about Consulate on 9/11 anniversary; we've got doors with locks, plus these 4 Libyan guards, 75% of whom are probably loyal.
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 13, 2012
Just four Libyan guards at Benghazi Consulate. And one was a rat (at least one). Four. Guards. http://t.co/t9sVVnWj
— Ursus, Director of Weather and Banana Programming (@AceofSpadesHQ) September 13, 2012
Reportedly, they also didn’t have armed marines. Shouldn’t this be questioned?
Obama did not allow Marines to carry live ammo guarding the US Embassy in Cairo @seanhannity is reporting.
— Oligarch Kabuki (@HouseCracka) September 13, 2012
Leading from behind – no live ammo for Marines @ Egyptian embassy: http://t.co/f5nc7uIG
— National Review (@NRO) September 13, 2012
OMG! What a MESS! Marines claim State Department did NOT let them have Live Ammunition so could not defend Embassy in Egypt
— Yossi Gestetner (@YossiGestetner) September 13, 2012
So basically our Marines protecting our embassy Cairo have been reduced to pointing empty guns and shouting "PEW PEW PEW."
— Dana Loesch (@DLoesch) September 13, 2012
Yes. But, statement tact. That’s the real concern here, you see.
Not why four lay dead, left unsecured on September 11, under President Obama’s watch.
