At a rally in New Hampshire today, President Obama said that someone emailed him to say that he should make Bill Clinton the Secretary of Explaining Stuff.
"You need to appoint him secretary of explaining stuff" — Obama says friend emailed him after Clinton speech
— Steven Dennis (@StevenTDennis) September 7, 2012
Well, he said ‘splainin’ stuff.’
Clarifying …upon further review sounds like POTUS said Clinton should be "Secretary of SPLAININ' Stuff" — cooler way of sayin' explaining
— Ed Henry (@edhenry) September 7, 2012
Um. We are pretty sure that is called a press secretary. Of course, Obama wouldn’t know, being that he has the incompetent and absurd Jay Carney as his.
What’s quite odd is that an editor at New Yorker magazine tweeted the exact same thing the other day.
Bill Clinton should be the Secretary of Explaining Things.

Hmm. “A friend.” Media providing Obama with lines now?
Twitter users were quick to mock Mr. Greenman.
He is. Remember? http://t.co/apgLOubJ RT @bengreenman Bill Clinton should be the Secretary of Explaining Things.

And they are quick to mock President Obama today.
Steals Twitter joke. RT @TPM Obama: I should make Bill Clinton "Secretary of 'Splaining Stuff" http://t.co/ixV3x2ov

Obama's new line: President Clinton should be Secretary of Explaining Stuff. Clinton's response, "does this position get an intern?"

If Bill Clinton is going to be Secretary of Explaining Stuff, maybe Jennifer Granholm should be Secretary of Pointing at Things.

Obama has new ideas. He just proposed a new cabinet dept. http://t.co/gmYtI5VL

A new cabinet department, but an old Twitter joke. Kudos, champ!
