Andrew Kaczynski (formerly of Buzzfeed and CNN), also known as KFile, wonders why Hong didn't just stay off TV and hide her crazy. He thinks she could have won if she did that. It's much like the Biden basement strategy. It did work for him.
How much of Hong’s loss can be attributed to her bizarre decision to spend the last 10 days of the campaign responding to questions about abolishing the police or Thanksgiving abolition? She could’ve just not gone on national TV.

Honestly, we should all be happy she exposed herself. She could have been the Governor of a state.
"Why did the candidate campaign?" asked the journalist https://t.co/zl4ZMDc8JE

She's so insane she can't control the crazy so it's best to keep her locked up. Sounds like a great recipe for a leader.
IMHO after El-Sayed won, El-Sayed-ish politicians got a little too much swagger https://t.co/bwB9D3rqxU

El-Sayed has way too much swagger. He's so impressed with himself. It seems to be a theme among the DSA crowd.
Tactically, I think this is a very good point. Thank goodness she didn't take this reasonable advice https://t.co/xYAIKLkSAE

America is grateful.
Given her insane decision to not run any tv campaign ads during that time, I would also say it was likely the first real impression a lot of undecided voters had of her...and it made them break for Crowley. https://t.co/xGjLvViLgo

Maybe she made insane decisions because she's ... wait for it ... insane.
"If only people didnt know what she believed..." https://t.co/zLMRzFZnlL

Andrew: why couldn’t she have just hid her crazy for a few days?
— MeliAndee (@meliandee) August 12, 2026
She displayed it on the front porch.
So said what she said and the internet doesn’t forget. Stop trying to advance communist nut jobs.
— Kelly (@RebelChick66) August 12, 2026
Please and thank you.
Nah we would rather hear what you radical leftists really think. We like to see how nuts you guys actually are.

Then, conservatives know how to fight back.
Shhhh don’t discourage DSA freaks from doing this pic.twitter.com/xH2uGi9pf9

When you go after America's most popular holiday 🇺🇸, Thanksgiving, you will lose every time.

Don't mess with our turkey, football and family time.
That said, you guys have a job to do. Whether she responds or not. I think if Michigan happened a week later Stevens probably beats AES.

Oh, the journos absolutely covered for Stepstool Abdul. No doubt.
It's really ironic that some people expect far-left candidates to not answer questions because it'll hurt them but moderate candidates need to answer all the questions because it'll help them...
— Max Paine (@THEONLYMaxPaine) August 12, 2026
Or maybe journos shouldn't think of ways to cover up candidate flaws. They should be exposing them.
