I have discussed previously the difficulty Leftists have with analogous situations. I've determined they struggle with this concept because they are not terribly smart people and it is a higher order thinking skill. So, when a Wisconsin Congressional candidate posted this today, I sighed deeply and decided to take it upon myself to explain how the Muslim 'call to prayer' is not the same as bells. Ignorance may be bliss, but not on my watch.
As a Catholic, how is this different from when Church bells ring? https://t.co/wEhfWkAukS

First of all, Mr. Bryce says in his bio he is disabled. I have to assume it is an intellectual one because otherwise, who would write this dribble? He clearly doesn't remember the days when members of his very religion had to fight off the scourge of Muslim invaders. How soon they forget.
Do the bells talk to you? https://t.co/6Gp4w2ZWzJ

This is the question I posed to Mr. Bryce. To me, a person mostly psychologically stable, bells just ring. They don't say words. Sometimes, I may count them and know what time it is from the number of times they tolled, but otherwise, it's an innocuous noise.
The Muslim Call to Prayer (which blasts five times per day) is words. Maybe Mr. Bryce doesn't realize that because he doesn't speak Arabic, but the 'Adhan' is a chant. Here is what it says:
Allahu Akbar: Allah is Greater.
Ash-hadu alla ilaha illa-llah: I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah.
Ash-hadu anna Muhammadar-Rasulullah: I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
Hayya ‘ala-s-Salah: Hasten to the Prayer.
Hayya ‘ala-l-falah: Hasten to real success.
Allahu Akbar: Allah is Greater.
La ilaha illa-llah: There is none worthy of worship but Allah.
These lines are repeated for emphasis and are part of the Islamic call to prayer, which is a Sunnah (optional duty) that brings its own reward from Allah (God).
Can we agree this is much different than bells? Bells are rather secular. People who don't believe in God can enjoy bells. The bells are not proclaiming the superiority of any one religion over another. The only reason the bells may offend is they're loud. Now, if Muslims will agree to stop these calls to prayer over loud speakers if churches stop ringing bells, I think most people would take the trade off.
He's using the standard "As a... " + feign ignorance = gaslighting while virtue signaling formula.

He knows why. He's doing the same thing here. He's being coy about his bullying and demanding everyone submit to his position. https://t.co/QqFIF6k9s8
How can you not tell the difference between caterwauling to satan and harmonious bells that have been shown to literally have healing frequencies? The hell kind of catholic are you? https://t.co/d7ny4vOcuW

This is true. Bells are even used in non-traditional healing practices. People like bells, in general.
How are truth and error different?
