Rarely, do Democrats shock me with their nasty partisan behavior. I've come to expect them to concoct nonsense charges to effect elections, make up stories about judges to humiliate them and their families (see Kavanaugh), use protests to scare Jewish students and faculty, intimidate political staff while they are trying to enjoy a meal (like they did to Sarah Sanders in DC) and the list is honestly endless. They are nasty people and they will stop at nothing to get their way. Their behavior over President Trump's visit to Arlington this past week really takes the cake, though.
Gold Star families defend Trump in Arlington controversy: “We had given our approval for President Trump's official videographer and photographer to attend the event, ensuring these sacred moments of remembrance were respectfully captured, and so we can cherish these memories… https://t.co/oCoWUUQLLs

Gold Star families invited Trump. Their feelings are the ONLY ones that matter. That's the President they wanted. It isn't up to any other person to weigh in. If they asked for Bill Clinton or Barack Obama to be there, I might silently judge their taste, but I would vocally support their right to grieve their tremendous loss with whomever they choose. That's certainly not my call to make. The fact people would get on Elon Musk's internet and turn their nose up at the choice of Trump is outrageous.
Comrade Kamala has no events on her calendar today. Biden is on vacation laying on a beach somewhere. Who is honoring those killed in the botched Afghanistan withdrawal?

If Biden wasn't at the beach, he could have been present to honor the dead.
Arlington National Cemetery isn't a place for campaign photo-ops. It's a sacred resting place for American patriots.

But for Donald Trump, disrespecting military veterans is just par for the course.
It's an absolute disgrace.

This Congresswoman from New Jersey used to be a Navy Pilot, so apparently she believes that gives her standing to add her two cents. First of all, Trump appearing at this ceremony does not make it a campaign photo op. He was there because he was invited to be there. Yes, Trump is running for President. No, that does not make every move he makes a 'campaign stop'. During the time of the campaign, he may participate in other important events that pop up in the next 80 days. There are literally people who will criticize Trump for anything he does.
Y’know what a disgrace is: allowing 13 US service members to be killed by terrorists due to your sides total incompetence. https://t.co/GctJ9AzLrv

Correct! Maybe Democrats should be worried about the events that led up to this ceremony and why it even needed to happen in the first place. There's an idea if I even heard one!
The families wanted him there and were comforted by his presence. That’s all that matters to most of us. It speaks volumes that nobody from the Biden/Harris administration showed to pay their respects. https://t.co/4LYhmn6MNH pic.twitter.com/rW9nXaAAA7

This sums it up perfectly. If the family was comforted, that is all that matters.
