Why is the Director of the Secret Service still employed?
Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle told members "the Secret Service is responsible for a no fail mission. This assassination attempt was a failure. I acknowledge that there were mistakes and gaps," according to a source on the call.

Cheatle is correct. It is a no fail mission. She failed. That means she should lose her job. If she does not have enough pride to resign (as she should), steps should be taken to remove her. No other Director failed in the last 40 years. Our nation was better when people had a bit of shame. She should be hanging her head and begging forgiveness. There can't be 'mistakes and gaps' when it comes to the life of a President. Bad actors are looking for ANY 'mistake or gap' to exploit and quite frankly, a very unsophisticated shooter was able to outwit them. It's a disgrace.
Secret Service is briefing senators on a conference call—regarding the assassination attempt against President Trump.

So far they’re flooding us with details that aren’t all that helpful.
I have yet to hear them substantively address the failures that led to this tragedy.
How is this at all acceptable? Director Cheatle should have been prepared to answer questions for as long as our elected officials were asking them. She spent last week in Aspen, after all. She should be plenty rested.
BREAKING: Sources familiar with the call tell me that multiple senators were prohibited from asking any questions of the Secret Service during this call.

Senators Blackburn, Cruz, and Lee, among others, were left in the queue and not allowed to ask questions of the agency they… https://t.co/CIxAlcSgyo
Then, came this news. Aside from the fact any and all Senators should have been permitted to ask questions of this woman who works for the taxpayers, how are Senators Cruz and Lee, both accomplished litigators, blocked from asking questions? What question is the Biden Administration afraid to answer? What are they hiding from the American public?
NEW: Secret Service director Kim Cheatle, good friend of Jill Biden and the new face of America's competency crisis, didn't post snipers on the roof where Trump was shot at because it was a sloped roof and she was afraid someone might slip and fall.

You can't make this stuff up. pic.twitter.com/XEkonoRh2p
By now, most of us have heard of Cheatle's 'sloped roof' excuse. As soon as she uttered that, she should have become a history lesson in the annals of past Directors. How does a person this incompetent lead the agency tasked with keeping Presidents alive? All living Presidents should be terrified right now. A 20 year old recent high school graduate who worked in food service at a nursing home was able to pull one over on the Secret Service of the United States of America. Imagine what China and Russia could plan!
EXCLUSIVE: @DBongino provides shocking new revelations about USSS failures in attempted assassination of Former President Trump - including that WH told Cheatle she needs to 'shut her mouth or she's out' pic.twitter.com/g2iwKDPNhM

There are reports the White House has instructed her to shut her mouth. That should not be an option. She owes the American people answers and then she should tender her resignation. Enough is enough.
