Trump Meets Secretly with Possible VP Options but He May Have a Surprise Up His Sleeve

As the days move us closer to the RNC Convention, the chatter about who will eventually be Trump's VP pick is heating up. Now, we have news Trump met with three of the top contenders this weekend.

This is getting exciting!

These three seem to be the top choices at this juncture, but there may be a trick or two up Trump's sleeve. He always like to put on a show and entertain.

If it is Marco, the fact they are both Florida residents will immediately become an issue. There are suggestions of ways they can work through that legally, and Trump does own multiple homes in multiple states. As a reminder, Marco Rubio is currently a Senator in Florida. He is also fluent in Spanish and well liked in the Latino community. Trump may see him as an asset in attracting Hispanic voters who have slowly been shifting right.

Others think this may just be an opportunity for Trump to snub Rubio publicly, one last time. As a Floridian and longtime Rubio supporter, I hope not. He has been a good and loyal Senator and represented our state well.

Still others had suggestions that didn't include anyone on Trump's current short list.

Taylor might be Biden's choice as she is an outspoken Democrat. She might be the only person who could actually help Biden win.

There were suggestions Trump have an 'Apprentice' like show the first day of the Convention where he had the possible contenders go through tasks and then announce a winner. It would be hilarious.

To be fair, it is nothing but a popularity contest and who can bring more to the ticket. It certainly didn't help Kamala's popularity though.

Knowing Trump, that's totally possible. Maybe at the end we will get the Trump/DeSantis ticket so many Republicans wanted.

The Burgum option is also very confusing to me, other than the fact he is rich and knows many other rich people. You have to have lots of money to win a campaign against the Democrats who have Hollywood and most billionaires in their pocket.

Honestly, I believe this, as well. I think he knows who his pick is and he has kept it well hidden. I believe we might get a YUGE surprise at the convention. Fingers crossed it is a fabulous choice and we finally get the 'red wave' we've all been waiting for.
