So the Kentucky Wildcats, despite today’s loss to Vanderbilt, have bagged the #1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament. The other top seeds: Syracuse, Michigan State, and North Carolina. Only one of those teams won its conference tournament.
Fans of the Missouri Tigers, which went 30-4 and won the Big 12 championship, were not happy about their #2 seed.
Duke, the other team who lost to a strong Florida State squad in the ACC Tournament is one of the other #2 seeds.

And the selection committee seems to be anticipating key match ups later on in the tournament.
Surprised to see UK in South, UNC in Midwest. Probably did that to give UK a lesser seeded 2 (Duke? OSU?) as opposed to a Big 12 team

Possible UK-UConn game in second round. That's strong.

Cal's conspiracy predictions are true. UConn is across from Kentucky in the bracket. THAT will be a fun second-round game.
