Initially the headline for the Washington Post’s article about a Detroit stabbing incident was: Man stabs two at a bus stop after asking them if they’re muslim. It’s still visible in the URL for the article.
Even the original headline didn’t specify that the two people were stabbed by a muslim because they admitted to not being muslims. The “fixed” headline is even more misleading.

@NoahCRothman I can't imagine 'discussion' will stay in that headline for long. Nor should it.

It’s still there as of this post.

@NoahCRothman also, HE SAYS HE IS MUSLIM, which seems relevant.

@MZHemingway @NoahCRothman Let's not jump to any conclusions here. The guy may have just needed employment opportunities.

he asked two people if they were muslim and when they said "no" he stabbed them. This is a "discussion of religious beliefs"? @abbyohlheiser

@AceofSpadesHQ In diplomatic jargon, this is what they call a "free and frank exchange of views". @abbyohlheiser
