Wow. How is this for some elitist hypocrisy?
You probably remember when NBC’s Dr. Nancy Snyderman was part of a team whose cameraman contracted the Ebola virus in Africa. The whole team was supposed to be under quarantine, but Nancy really needed to go out and get a take out bowl of soup. So forgive us if we don’t think Snyderman is the right spokesperson for public health and “responsibility.”
Why should the measles outbreak scare us? Because it goes to the core of why public health is everyone's responsibility @NBCNightlyNews

@NBCNightlyNews You need to fire @DrNancyNBCNEWS. She has no credibility to speak of measles/public health being everyone's responsibility.

@DrNancyNBCNEWS @surfinwav @NBCNightlyNews @NBCNews "We shouldn't be so cocky" about Measles, yet you went out after your exposure to Ebola.

No one said epidemic but this is a measles outbreak and it could be avoided @surfinwav @NBCNightlyNews @NBCNews
