Today is Texas Muslim Capital Day in Austin. The House is in recess until Monday. Most Members including myself are back in District. I did leave an Israeli flag on the reception desk in my office with instructions to staff to ask representatives from the Muslim community to renounce Islamic terrorist groups and publicly announce allegiance to America and our laws. We will see how long they stay in my office.
Her comments about Muslim Capitol Day were naturally condemned by open minded liberals as racist and intolerant. It’s probably a safe bet that most of them are part of the crowd who thinks a nativity scene at the post office or a cross on a war memorial is an egregious violation of their Constitutional rights.

CAIR organized this event and routinely condemns Israel. We’re not sure they really have a right to be “offended” by someone making a gesture supporting an ally.
