Not to mention that sunscreen disproportionately benefits white people so clearly this is racist policy.
Glad POTUS has signed Sunscreen Innovation Act, which I cosponsored. Law will help ensure Americans have access 2 best quality sunscreen.

We thought Republicans believed that sort of thing is what the free market is for.
Dear @KellyAyotte: Is the concept of “limited government” totally lost on you?
— Eric H. (@ericinva) December 1, 2014
@KellyAyotte At least we got that going for us…..good grief

@exjon It's like politicians live on another planet. One much closer to the sun. @KellyAyotte

@AmyOtto8 Can we just get rid of laws then? Can we cut the CFR to a quarter of it's current size?

@exjon Clearly you’re not up to speed on the “undue sunburn” clause in the Constitution.

Heh.
Update: 8:38 PM December 1
Senator Ayotte responded to critics clarifying that the intent of the new law is to break “logjams” in the FDA approval process. Given the reaction, her initial tweet about the bill signing clearly didn’t get that message across.
@cobrownell @TheH2 @exjon @DrewMTips point of bill is to break logjam in FDA approval process where some products have been stuck for 12 yrs
— Kelly Ayotte (@KellyAyotte) December 2, 2014
Even so, many remain skeptical about the Senator’s priorities.
@KellyAyotte How about…removing the government from the process entirely? @cobrownell @TheH2 @exjon
— Drew McCoy (@_Drew_McCoy_) December 2, 2014
@KellyAyotte you should be questioning why FDA has approval authority to begin with

.@KellyAyotte Sorry, I have no lack of sunscreen. Where's action on national debt, illegal amnesty, rolling back ridiculous EPA regs?
