It would seem the noted Constitutional scholar Sarah Silverman has been poring over her dogeared copy of the Federalist Papers again, and has made an unprecedented discovery. Or something.
Why would anyone be against the sep of church & state?

That’s because “big constitution peeps” usually know that the founders intended to keep the federal government from establishing an official state church like England had, not to strike from government any values or morality derived from religion. They would have thought such an idea absurd.
But naturally, as a C-list celebrity, Silverman has plenty of head-nodding public school indoctrinated yes-men to back up her insightful observations.
