A military jet crashed in a residential neighborhood in Imperial, California. Reportedly the plane was an AV-8B Harrier jet based in Yuma, Arizona and its pilot safely ejected. No word on civilian casualties on the ground.

Fortunately, according to NBC News, nobody on the ground was injured when the plane crashed:
