They just can’t help themselves. Democrats are having meltdowns left and right (but mostly left) over the Benghazi investigation. Now it’s David Plouffe’s turn. It’s actually pretty impressive how the former Obama campaign manager and adviser crammed so much misinformation and jackassery into 140 characters.
The strategy is pretty clear: poison the well by mocking Republican “obsession” with a “phony scandal.” They just can’t see how ham-handed and callous they appear in the process. It’s like they moved the Paul Wellstone memorial into the Twitterverse. Plouffe is getting a faceful.
